About the Role: Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a dynamic Operations Director to lead and oversee all global manufacturing activities. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this senior leadership position plays a crucial role in driving operational excellence, ensuring safety and quality, controlling costs, and delivering outstanding customer satisfaction.

Major Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership team to define and execute the company's strategic direction.
- Oversee and optimize manufacturing operations across all locations, ensuring best practices and standardization.
- Manage the annual operations budget and achieve financial and performance targets.
- Address and resolve significant manufacturing issues, ensuring high customer satisfaction and product quality.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement and cost-reduction goals.
- Collaborate with business development and corporate engineering teams to evaluate new product opportunities and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, provincial, and federal regulations governing manufacturing operations.

Requirements and Education:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 15 years of experience, including supervisory, budget management, engineering, business development, manufacturing, and project management.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Attributes:

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional and excellent presentation skills.
- Proven leadership capabilities with a strong aptitude for customer relations, negotiation, and compromise.
- Strong organizational skills, including effective records management, prioritization, and budgeting.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
- Skilled in project management and committed to health and safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
