Come join the MAPEI company as a Technical Representative Under the responsibility of the Technical Services Manager, the candidate is responsible for: Answers to telephone calls or emails on the use of MAPEI's products for Floor Covering Installation Systems (FCIS) & Tile and Stone Installation System (TSIS); Gives technical assistance to the architects, engineers, designers, installers, applicators, DIY or others; Offers/participates "on- site training" about our products when required by Technical Services Manager; Assists technical sales representatives by visiting sites to collect information for specifications purposes for evaluation of problems (installation issues or complaints) and follows up on files; Follows up on technical service complaints and request; Helps in improving MAPEI's products by working in collaboration with R&D laboratories when required; Presents or participates with in-house or distributors' training; Writes requested reports; Writes articles for our industry specialized magazines, participates to our efforts in writing / corresponding on social media platforms (blogs, etc ) when required; Cooperates with the Marketing Department for technical sheets preparations (or other documents); Is able to travel easily, when requested (in Canada, United States and for some commercial expositions);        Any other related task as required by Technical Services Manager.   High School Degree and 3 years of experience in tile setting and/or in floor covering Very good spoken and written English Very good Knowledge of industry standards and of Quality Standards Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Outlook) Technical writing Conceptualization and design Professional judgment and autonomy Analytical capacity Capacity to challenge situation or people Courtesy and discernment Time and priorities management Detailed (rigorous) Good communication skills Sense of planning and organization Valid driver’s license
