In the role of Proposal Engineer, you'll play a pivotal part on our Engineer team.

This position contributes to our vision by:

1. Performing initial review of the data being provided for any given proposal and determining the path forward for completion of the proposal meeting.
2. Developing the initial NRE and Kit definition.
3. Coordinating with all applicable groups (Tech Pubs, Stress, Cert, Flammability, etc.).
4. Preparing kit list and final estimation for final kit pricing.
5. Providing accurate and timely estimates which include scope, material, and labor effort by skilled discipline.
6. Developing winning proposals, which includes writing technical proposals and delivering completed packages by due date.
7. Engaging early with the sales team to understand enquiry/RFQ properly to design and provide suitable solutions. Participating in official handover by consolidating all documentation in a timely and accurate manner as per the document management standard.
8. Developing cost-effective estimates and identifying explicit proposal inclusions to be prepared within required timelines.
9. Regularly reviewing and submitting review estimates based on approved change requests.
10. Continuously improving current processes to increase efficiency, simplicity, and margin.

Knowledge & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years industry experience in Engineering or other technical role
- Minimum 2 years of proposal management
- Engineering background and/or technical aptitude to understand and communicate technical subject matter
- Broad familiarity with Boeing and/or Airbus aircraft
- Broad understanding of FAA/EASA certification process

- Excellent communication skills and ability to establish and foster relationships between various internal customers
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical solutions into detailed cost elements
- Demonstrated proficiency with Excel
