Groupe PROFAB is looking for someone who will bring their unique touch to the role of Network Administrator at our Saint‑Apollinaire office.
Network Administrator | St‑Apollinaire | Full‑time (39h per week) | Monday to Friday (possibility of remote work depending on needs)
As a Network Administrator, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your analytical skills and contribute to the team’s success.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Administering, maintaining, and optimizing Windows servers (2019 and later) and VMware ESX environments (8.0 and later);
- Diagnosing and resolving Level 2 and Level 3 incidents related to network and server infrastructure;
- Managing system configurations, monitoring performance, and planning capacity;
- Participating in the evolution of the network architecture and managing infrastructure projects (migrations, virtualization, cloud);
- Automating recurring tasks using automation tools;
- Ensuring data security, backups, and recovery;
- Collaborating with the internal team to ensure service availability and performance;
- Participating in technical support activities.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience;
- Minimum of 1 year of experience;
- Excellent knowledge of Windows Server (2019 or later), Veeam Backup, Active Directory, and the Microsoft 365 environment;
- Good knowledge of VMware ESX, vCenter, and Hyper-V;
- Knowledge of networking and SonicWall switches/routers;
- Strong ability to clearly explain technical concepts;
- Functional English (spoken and written) is considered an asset.
