Key Responsibilities
- Deliver primary and emergency care to residents across age groups
- Apply advanced observation, assessment, and nursing diagnosis skills
- Lead health promotion initiatives and implement individualized care plans
- Provide immunizations, travel nursing, IPAC, and disease management
- Maintain client comfort and safety within nursing scope
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or better
- Nursing license through the governing body in good standing
- Required work experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- 1,125–3,000 recent primary care hours, or 3,000 remote-care hours
- License eligibility in intended provinces or territories Use expanded Nurse Practitioner practice, clinical assessment, and emergency care skills while supporting remote northern communities through Bayshore.
