WHAT YOU WILL DO

The overall purpose of this position is to ensure the attainment of our industry leading customer experience, and parts & service goals at dealerships in the assigned district.

The successful candidate may be based out of southern Alberta or Saskatchewan. This is a home-office based role, with travel to dealerships expected 50-75% of the time. The role will report into the Assistant Zone Manager, Aftersales out of Hyundai Canada's Western Zone office based out of Burnaby, BC.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

- Serve as the primary liaison between Hyundai Canada and the assigned dealerships within the district for all aftersales operations.

- Monitor and analyze dealer performance metrics and collaborate with dealers to develop strategic action plans leveraging best practices for continuous performance improvement.

- Ensure dealers meet Hyundai standards for service quality, warranty compliance and operational efficiency.

- Manage retail Parts & Accessories sales targets and optimize performance in the district:

- Manage dealer parts sales target achievement and loyalty levels

- Manage accessory sales processes & accessory PNVR achievement

- Support service marketing campaigns

- Support and manage booking programs

- Backorder & VOR inquiries

- Review and grow dealership fixed operations:

- Dealership service processes (DSOM)

- Fixed absorption

- Customer pay sales

- Workshop capacity, efficiency, and productivity

- Utilization of Digital Service Services

- Customer Experience Service process:

- Dealership reviews

- Mystery shops

- Customer Relations incidents / Dealer Case Management for service cases

- Evaluate dealerships on the service deliverables of Hyundai’s exclusive Signature Certification program.

- Work collaboratively with Zone Warranty Support Manager to address dealer warranty performance.

- Ensure fulfillment of Aftersales Training Registrations / Technical Training (team member certification).

- Dealer participation of national programs, i.e. PoP, digital displays, tablet-based services, and Hyundai Digital Service.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

- Completion of an undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education

- 5-7 years of relevant experience in the same or similar positions

- Decision making and critical thinking

- Action oriented

- Excellent organization and negotiation skills

- Experience in Automotive Aftersales is an asset

- Technical automotive knowledge

- Ability to manage diverse groups and deal with change

- Ability to maintain a professional image to internal and external customers

- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driver abstract

- Ability to work independently and travel on a regular basis
