Position: Junior Civil Engineering Technologist

MPE is currently seeking a Junior Civil Engineering Technologist to join our team in the MPE Saskatoon office.

Your Main Responsibilities

- Complete field surveys utilizing RTK GPS equipment, including topographic, bathymetric, ROV, drone, construction layout and quantity surveys.

- Design Municipal, Transportation and Water Resource Projects using Civil 3D.

- Prepare cost estimates, design drawings, specifications and contract documents.

- Conduct site inspections and resident engineering duties throughout the construction phase of projects, ensuring work is in accordance with drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field.

- 0-5 years of experience.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other drafting software.

- Proficiency with GPS survey technology.

- Previous field work considered an asset.

- Being registered or eligible for registration with Technology Professionals Saskatchewan (TPSK).

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

- Aptitude for general construction methods.

- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently.
