As a member of the Global Wealth and Insurance Audit Department, you will support audit plans and initiatives aligned with business strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations, internal policies, and procedures while promoting a customer‑focused culture. Is This Role Right for You? - Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. - Use data analytics to support audit testing and continuous monitoring. - Evaluate the design and operation of internal controls. - Assist in audit planning and execution for projects of low to moderate complexity. - Document audit work using TeamMate+ in accordance with department standards. - Identify and assess control weaknesses and provide practical recommendations. - Draft audit findings and reports with clear, concise communication. - Maintain effective client relationships with auditees and business line management. - Support special projects including investigations and ad hoc assignments. - Contribute to a high-performance and inclusive work environment. Do You Have the Skills? - Minimum of 2 years internal or external audit experience. - Basic knowledge of analytical tools such as Co‑Pilot, Alteryx; coding/scripts knowledge is an asset. - Experience in brokerages, trust, private banking, portfolio management, wealth operations, and insurance. - Working toward CPA or similar accounting designation preferred. - Working toward certifications such as CIA, CISA, CAMS, or CRMA is an asset. - Spanish language capability is an asset. - Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, audit software tools, and data analytics. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to identify control weaknesses and recommend solutions.
