Your team is embedded within our operational squads and is responsible for delivering critical insights that drive efficiency and improve customer experience. In this role, you will be a key player in our agile environment, ensuring your team has the skills and support needed to succeed.## ## ****Responsibilities******Team Leadership and Development:*** Lead, mentor, and coach a team of analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.* Conduct one-on-one meetings and performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and creating development plans.* Identify skill gaps and organize training sessions to upskill the team in areas like Tableau, Google BigQuery, SQL, and data storytelling.* Manage analyst assignments to different squads, ensuring balanced workloads and alignment with business priorities. **Operational Analytics and Strategy:*** Work closely with operational leaders (e.g., customer service, network operations) to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable analytics projects.* Define best practices and standards for reporting, dashboard creation, and data visualization.* Ensure the team delivers high-quality, accurate, and timely insights that support operational decision-making and performance monitoring.* Promote the adoption of new analytics tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency and insight delivery.**Agile Collaboration and Delivery:*** Serve as the bridge between your team and the product owners, scrum masters, and other stakeholders in the operational squads.* Ensure the team’s work aligns with the squad's goals and the broader BI and analytics roadmap.* Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration across different squads and with other analytics chapters.****Qualifications******Experience:*** 8+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field, preferably in the telecommunications industry.* 2+ years of experience managing, leading, or mentoring a team of data analysts.* Demonstrated experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.**Technical Skills:*** Expert-level proficiency with Tableau and Google BigQuery* Strong SQL skills are a must. **Soft Skills:*** Familiarity with data modeling and data warehousing concepts.* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.* Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling stories and actionable insights.* Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.**Working Conditions** Contract type: Full-time (35 hours/week) for Montreal,QC or 37,5 hours/week) for Burlington,ON Location: Hybrid (1-2 days/week)If you are passionate about data and want to have a direct impact on strategic decision-making, join us### ***#LI-Hybrid***## Location :Montréal, QC## Company :Cogeco Communications Inc.At Cogeco, we know that different backgrounds, perspectives, and beliefs can bring critical value to our business.
