We are looking to hire an Territory Manager who will be responsible for identifying new business relationships and growing our existing agents. This position reports directly to the Regional Manager and is a part of the Canada Sales team. The territory is in Montreal and the surrounding areas, and it requires excellent communication skills in English and or any other language(s) to meet the business needs of our clients.

Responsibilities

- Source new prospect Agents and manage the entire sales process from identifying prospects, cold calling, face-to-face meetings, conducting presentations and user demonstrations.

- Manage the assigned Agent network and sustainably grow the existing transaction volume.

- Manage the new Agent onboarding applications, installations and training process.

- Train and support new and existing agents and assist them with troubleshooting equipment.

- Provide agents with standard point-of-sale materials and support with AR/Compliance training.

- Increase sales and market share of existing products (money transfers, domestic payouts, and bill payments)

- Analyze company reports and market data to address, reinforce, and correct performance trends, capitalizing on market opportunities for new and existing Agents in the assigned territory.

- Provide fact-based recommendations on product pricing and Agent commissions.

- Regularly visit top-producing Agents in the assigned territory, monitor performance vs. monthly targets, identify personnel training needs, understand customer dynamics, and build sustainable relationships.

- Execute both self-conceived and assigned marketing plans to support transaction growth.

- Supports various departments at headquarters to ensure that Agents comply with company policies, compliance guidelines and procedures.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and any other languages, to meet the business needs of our customers.

- Two or more years of experience in outside sales, business development and account management.

- Must possess experience in cold calling, product demonstration and selling products or services

- Ability to travel within assigned territory daily, have a valid work permit and driver's license

- Reliable owned automobile transportation (car allowance provided)

- Must be able to maintain an acceptable driving record and auto insurance coverage

- Able to work occasionally on weekends to participate in community and marketing events

- Must possess intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office

- Strong interpersonal and time management skills, self-motivated and works well under no supervision

- Ability to effectively present information in meetings with customers, Agents, and other employees of the organization

- Working Conditions

- Ability to work from the office, from home and travel to the assigned territory as needed

- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time as a driver in an automobile

- Ability to visit businesses and work in tight places to install equipment or marketing materials

- Ability to lift a maximum of 11.3 kilograms / 25 pounds
