About the Role

Bayshore Medical Personnel is currently seeking a full-time Pharmacy Assistant with at least three years of experience in providing direct patient care in one or more clinical settings, such as a hospital or community setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceutical products under the direction of a Pharmacist.
  • Maintain prescription records and conduct inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products.
Requirements
  • Minimum three years of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant within the last five years.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate for Healthcare Provider or equivalent.
  • Diploma in a Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Technician program from a post-secondary school is an asset.
  • N95 mask fit certificate CSA Standards Z94.4 (within two years).
  • Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) Certification (within two years).
