Responsibilities:

1. Conduct change management during visits at customer sites.
2. Provide hands-on technical support during project implementation phases.
3. Develop project management and technical documentation.
4. Manage projects from inception to completion.
5. Product development and continuous improvement.
6. Coach and train field service teams as well as product administrators/planners.
7. Regular customer visits along with performance tracking.
8. Responsible for planning and execution of various automation and digitalization projects.
9. Monitoring and reporting of project and system KPIs.
10. Develop and execute project blueprints for all automation systems.
11. Liaise with stakeholders on project progress.
12. Coordinate activities with sub-suppliers and other stakeholders.
13. Collaborate with global teams on projects.
14. Travel to customer sites and global product companies.
15. Support marketing teams to estimate project costs and resources.
16. Plan and coordinate service support resources required for projects.
17. Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and customers.

Experience:

- Minimum five (5) years of relevant work experience within the mining industry.
- Experience in automation.

Knowledge/Education:

- Technology degree in Mechatronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar.
- Project management certification and experience are assets.

Internal Qualifications:

- Strong troubleshooting and computer skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to travel and go underground.
- Problem-solver attitude.

Skills and Abilities:

- Experience developing documentation and diagrams.
- AutoCAD and office pack proficiency.
- Knowledge of communication protocols (ProfiBus, Profinet, CAN, etc.) is considered an asset.
- Strong presentation skills and analytical skills.
- Fluent in both English and French is an asset.
