Fonctions Spécifiques/Specific functions

Personne qui évalue le fonctionnement psychologique et mental ainsi que détermine, recommande et effectue des interventions et des traitements dans le but de favoriser la santé psychologique et de rétablir la santé mentale de l'être humain en interaction avec son environnement. Elle conçoit et exerce des activités d'évaluation, d'orientation, de consultation et de traitements psychologiques adaptés aux besoins individuels des enfants et adultes. Collabore avec plusieurs partenaires. Intervient directement dans le milieu (rencontres à domicile, séances de groupe dans un organisme communautaire, etc.). Fait partie de l'équipe de garde psychosociale 24/7.

A person who studies psychological and mental functioning and determines, recommends, and implements interventions and treatments to promote psychological health and restore the mental health of individuals in interaction with their environment. They design and implement psychological assessment, guidance, consultation, and treatment activities tailored to the individual and collective needs of children and adults. The psychologist may be called upon to collaborate with several partners and intervene directly in the community (home visits, group sessions in a community organization, etc.). The psychologist is part of the 24/7 psychosocial care team.

Exigences spécifiques/Specific Requirements

Détenir un diplôme universitaire de deuxième cycle en psychologie ; Une personne non détentrice de doctorat sera considérée si elle est déjà reconnue comme membre par l'ordre des psychologues. Posséder une expérience de travail pertinente d'au moins cinq (5) ans en santé mentale jeunesse ; Posséder une expérience en traitement de trauma, abus sexuels, abus physiques, etc. chez les enfants et adolescents ; Posséder une expérience en intervention familiale et de groupe ; Une expérience en thérapie de jeu serait un atout ; Capacité à créer un lien thérapeutique avec la clientèle ; Maîtriser le français et l'anglais (écrits et parlés), la connaissance de l'inuktitut serait un atout ; Sens de l'organisation, adaptation, créativité, initiative et autonomie ; Capacité à travailler en équipe interdisciplinaire ; Avoir un permis de conduire valide ; Être disponible jour, soir et nuit pour la garde psychosociale.

Hold a post-graduate degree in psychology; A person who does not hold a doctorate will be considered if he or she is already recognized as a member by the Order of Psychologists. Have at least five (5) years in youth mental health; Have experience in treatment of trauma, sexual abuse, physical abuse, etc. in children and adolescents; Have experience in family and group intervention; Experience in game therapy would be an asset; Ability to create a therapeutic link with clients; Excellent knowledge of French and English (written and spoken), knowledge of Inuktitut would be an asset; Sense of organization, adaptation, creativity, initiative and autonomy; Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team; Have a valid driver's license; Be available day, evening and night for psychosocial care.
