This role emphasizes the evaluation and management of actuarial reserves, including IBNR, and the development of relevant methodologies. Your analytical capabilities will allow you to transform complex reserve issues into clear, actionable reports, fostering effective collaboration across teams. Engage with various stakeholders to communicate and certify financial results.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform quarterly evaluations of claims reserves
• Develop and refine methodologies for reserve calculations
• Monitor and update key assumptions impacting reserves
• Prepare and present significant actuarial reports
• Coordinate financial results communication with partners
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science or similar field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in property and casualty insurance
• Pursuing CAS Associate designation
• Proficient in MS Excel, R, or Python
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities Your actuarial skills can significantly impact TD's approach to risk management and reserve accuracy.
