Job Title: Enterprise Security Compliance Specialist

Location: Calgary, AB – Preferred

Length: 12 Month contract to start

Rotation: Mon-Fri

Description:

NES Fircroft is seeking an Enterprise Security Compliance Specialist to support our client’s cybersecurity compliance program. This role sits within the Compliance team and focuses on conducting audits, assessing security controls, managing non-conformances, and coordinating remediation activities. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct cybersecurity audits and assess compliance across the organization.
- Evaluate security controls and track remediation activities.
- Manage non-conformances and compliance attestation processes.
- Support automation of compliance tasks and develop basic scripting solutions.
- Enhance and maintain ServiceNow GRC (Policy & Compliance module).

Minimum Qualifications

- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 4+ years of cybersecurity or IT analysis experience.
- Understanding of cybersecurity controls, risk management, and cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with GRC tools, ideally ServiceNow.
- Cyber audit experience.
- Scripting skills (Python preferred).
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle challenging conversations.
