We are looking for automotive technicians who can work independently as well as collaboratively with peers. We have a full-service facility and are seeking automotive technicians to help us create an environment of success

Responsibilities

As a Midas automotive technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, including:

- Diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems
- Tire repair and replacement
- Car heating and air conditioning systems
- Steering and suspension systems
- Belt and hose replacements
- Radiator and engine cooling system repairs
- Battery, starting, and charging system services
- Brake repairs
- Muffler and exhaust system services
- Visual safety and courtesy inspections

Qualifications

- Ability to repair vehicles independently and work well in a team environment
- High personal productivity
- Knowledge of and adherence to safety and environmental standards
- Experience with shop equipment such as lifts, tire changers, alignment machines, and diagnostic tools
- Provincial Certificate of Qualification
- Valid driver’s license
- Own tools and equipment (diagnostic scanners/tools preferred)
- Ability to service both import and domestic vehicles

Compensation: $15.00 - $28.00 per hour
