Tasks

- Design electrical and electronic components, systems and equipment
- Supervise and inspect the installation and operation of electrical and electronic systems and equipment
- Investigate electrical or electronic failures
- Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems

Credentials

Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses

- Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association

Job Duties

Review work orders and discuss work with the supervisor. Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicles, and test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults. Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems including fuel system.

Duties and Responsibilities

Safely operate and maintain the company refrigeration, steam, and ice systems in accordance with the Boiler & Pressure Vessel Act and Regulations. Troubleshoot and repair in a safe, orderly, and timely manner. Operate and maintain Freon, Ammonia, Steam system. Complete readings, recordings and daily log and necessary documentation.

Power (3rd Class and 4th class) Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities: Safely operate and maintain the company refrigeration, steam, and ice systems in accordance with the Boiler & Pressure Vessel Act and Regulations.
