We are currently seeking a Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Functional Consultant - REMOTE to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia (CA-BC), Canada (CA).
As the Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for working with a team to assist with the implementation of the Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. You will work with the project team through all phases of a project and will lead and/or participate in Requirements Definition, Fit Gap Analysis, System Design, Configuration, Testing and Training.
- Utilize your knowledge of finance and supply chain processes and best practices to advise and guide the customer during pre‑implementation consulting engagements such as Requirements Gathering, Fit Gap Assessments, Design and Configuration.
- Manage and develop customer relationships and perceptions to achieve mutual goals. You have outstanding people management skills.
- Interacting with clients and project team members alike
- Demonstrated capacity to plan, prioritize and organize your time, project schedules and multiple project activities.
- Work independently on tasks with minimal oversight. You adhere to deliverable timelines as stated in the project plan.
- Identify and analyze risks and issues for the program or project portfolio in conjunction with project managers.
- Demonstrate the ability to work systematically and logically to analyze situations, resolve problems, identify root cause issues and anticipate implications.
- Develop detailed functional designs for business solution components and prototypes.
- Write development specifications and interface with customers to test modifications and resolve any issues that arise.
- Participate in data migrations, integrations, report design and design of security model.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree: Business or technology related
- 5 Years strong background in finance/accounting/supply chain processes
- 5 Years experience participating in requirements gathering process for IT systems
- 5 Years with implementing D365 FO or other versions of Dynamics ERP
Other Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid understanding of aspects of business management and strategic evaluation.
Duties and Responsibilities
You will work with the project team through all phases of a project and will lead and/or participate in:
- Requirements Definition
- Business Process documentation
- Fit Gap Analysis
- System Design
- Configuration
- Testing including generation and validation of test scripts
- Training
- Post go‑live support
This role may also be involved with presales activities such as project scoping, estimating and contributing to proposals and Statements of Work.
