The Buildings+Places division of AECOM is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering Graduate for employment out of the Kitchener, ON office.

This is a full-time role expected to begin as soon as possible.

Major responsibilities include but not limited to:

- A key member of the mechanical design team participating in design and construction administration of various facilities, including occasional out-of-town travel
- Design of Plumbing, Fire Protection and HVAC systems
- Perform Energy and HVAC calculations and analysis using industry programs (i.e. Carrier HAP)
- Ability to use and create excel spreadsheets to assist with calculations and analysis
- Assist with the design and drafting of mechanical systems in 2D AutoCAD and MicroStation
- Assist with the design and drafting of mechanical systems in 3D such as REVIT
- Must be able to prepare written reports and deliver results in a clear manner to technical or non-technical persons
- Strong communication skills, spoken and written
- Experienced at using computers and utilizing Windows, e-mail, internet, MS Word, and Excel
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.

Minimum Requirements:

- Will be completing or have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Preferred Requirements:

- Prior experience working for a consulting engineering firm a strong asset
- Knowledge of REVIT and/or MicroStation considered a strong asset
