Principales tâches Nourrir, trier et peser les animaux ; Déplacer les animaux ; Participer aux activités de reproduction ; Surveiller la santé des animaux et leur prodiguer les soins nécessaires ; Préparer les animaux pour le transport, au besoin ; Appliquer les procédures de sécurité et de biosécurité ; Tenir à jour les registres ; Participer à l’entretien et aux réparations mineures des machines, équipements, véhicules et bâtiments agricoles, y compris le nettoyage des étables, granges, cours et enclos ; Conduire de la machinerie agricole ; Participer aux travaux dans les champs et à la manutention des cultures (chargement, déchargement, transport, etc.) destinées à l’alimentation du bétail ; Assister le superviseur, au besoin, dans la communication, la formation et la répartition des tâches. Conditions d’emploi Nombre de postes à combler : 16 ouvriers Horaire : entre 40 h et 50 h par semaine Type de poste : saisonnier Durée du contrat : de 6 à 24 mois Période d’emploi : de janvier 2026 à décembre 2028 Horaires variables : entre 7 h et 17 h Conditions diverses :Le nombre d’heures peut varier selon les périodes de production. L’entrée en poste est prévue à partir du 1er janvier 2026, et en continue au courant de l'année. Les travailleurs pourraient être appelés à travailler sur d’autres sites de l’exploitation situés en Ontario. Exigences De 1 à 6 mois d’expérience pertinente ; Capacité à effectuer les tâches simples liées à l’alimentation, à l’hygiène et au déplacement des animaux ; Capacité à manipuler des charges de 10 à 30 kg ; bonne dextérité manuelle et aptitude pour les tâches répétitives ; Bonne forme physique permettant de travailler pendant de longues heures ; Intérêt marqué pour l’agriculture, l’écologie et l’autonomie alimentaire.
