🛠 Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior DBA skilled in SQL Server, Oracle, and Postgres, responsible for database engineering, performance tuning, automation, and enterprise-level support in a mission-critical environment.

🔧 Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Install, configure, maintain & optimize databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres)
- Ensure database health, availability, performance & resiliency
- Partner with developers & production support teams to resolve issues
- Participate in on-call rotation (alerts, escalations, weekends/holidays)
- Manage backup, recovery, failover & DR strategies
- Support database changes and ensure proper documentation
- Conduct capacity planning and performance analysis
- Contribute to team strategy, automation, and process improvements

🧩 Technical Skills

Core Required Skills

SQL Server (2016–2022):

- Clustering, AlwaysOn, performance tuning
- Oracle (19c / 12c):
- RAC, ASM, DataGuard, RMAN, Oracle Enterprise Manager
- Postgres: 2+ years hands-on
- Operating Systems: Linux, Unix, Windows Server
- Scripting: Shell, Python, PowerShell
- Storage: EMC SAN
- Practices: Agile, SDLC

Nice to Have

- SQL Server in Azure
- Oracle Exadata / ExaCC
- GoldenGate
- Experience with Cassandra, MongoDB, or other DB platforms

💼 Experience Needed

- 6+ years hands-on with MSSQL (2016–2022)
- 3+ years hands-on with Oracle (19c/12c) on Unix/Linux
- 2+ years with Postgres
- Large-scale, highly available database experience
- Strong performance tuning (Oracle Optimizer, MSSQL)
- Automation/API development using Python
- Strong shell scripting & Linux scripting skills
