What you will do:
- Provide leadership and management to the Adult Speech and Language Therapy Service, ensuring it meets high standards of care and efficiency.
- Collaboratively plan, develop, and deliver integrated SLT services aligned with local needs, and ensure financial control and governance best practices.
- Manage your own caseload of patients with complex needs, delivering specialist speech and language therapy to adults and elderly individuals with diverse conditions.
- Lead and mentor SLT staff members, facilitating professional development, training, and adherence to policy and ethical standards.
- Oversee budget management, recruitment, and team dynamics, ensuring all operations run smoothly and effectively.
- Participate in strategic planning and service improvement projects, engaging stakeholders to drive enhancements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, ensuring all written and electronic records meet professional and organisational standards.
