Supply Chain Analyst

This is a three-month contract opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing supply chain data, optimizing processes, and improving efficiency across procurement and logistics operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience with supply chain management systems.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
- Develop reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to optimize processes
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend stock adjustments based on demand forecasting
- Support supplier performance evaluations and contract negotiations
- Conduct cost analysis and recommend cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
- Assist in the implementation of supply chain technology solutions
- Identify risks in the supply chain and propose mitigation strategies
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or procurement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (Excel, SQL, ERP systems)
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices
- Ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with demand forecasting and inventory management
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A diploma or degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred
