Quality Supervisor

Overview
The Quality Team Supervisor role is responsible for the execution of quality programs to drive accountability and visibility at the shift level. You will work closely with the manufacturing teams and will be responsible for verification of quality and regulatory documentation and processes.

Responsibilities
- Primary point of contact on quality and food safety crisis management and communication.
- Lead, coach, and train front line technicians to ensure understanding of quality systems and compliance.
- Facilitate smooth transition on new product rollouts.
- Facilitate initiatives to reduce consumer complaints.
- Lead quality related investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
- Support technical development for new and existing processes & products by providing input and guidance to business units to ensure all quality aspects are evaluated & solutions are implemented.
- Facilitate 100% departmental compliance to PepsiCo Quality Systems, including the review and maintenance of key quality and food safety documents.
- Manage compliance to GMP standards.
- Ownership of quality and food safety programs, audits, and regulatory requirements.
- Leadership of Lab Technician and Sanitation Team.
- Investigate and communicate outcomes of analytical data review to manufacturing operations.
Qualifications
- Post-Secondary education in Food Sciences, Microbiology or equivalent experience required.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership capabilities and leading results through others.
- Proficient with Quality and Food Safety programs.
- Strong communication skills.
- High degree of organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of computer applications (MS Office).
- Flexible availability for off-cycle shifts when needed.
