As Pharmacist-in-Charge, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing guidance and support to staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and provide guidance to pharmacy staff
  • Manage staff performance and conduct regular evaluations
  • Create and manage pharmacy schedules and coordinate vacation coverage
  • Oversee financial and operational performance of the department
  • Review and analyze sales data and identify opportunities for growth
  • Control costs and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely dispensing of medications
  • Counsel patients on medication usage and provide education on health-related topics
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve patient issues and concerns
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree
  • Class A pharmacists license
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in retail pharmacy environment
  • Injection certification and CPR certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and professionalism
  • Proven ability to build business using community-based marketing strategies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience formulating action plans
  • Personal computing skills (MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word) and knowledge of Healthwatch Pharmacy Computer system
