About the Company
Our client is a steel manufacturing company with plants in over 10 countries and over 100 clients in the automotive industry.
About the Opportunity
They are building a new cyber security team and will be branching off from their general IT team. They have cyber security technical experts in the team but are lacking people management skills.
Their main challenge is on the OT side, where they are finding candidates with cyber security experience but lacking IoT experience, specifically from a manufacturing and industrial background. They are open to people leaders and cyber security experts who understand that they are a manufacturing company.
Since they are in the automotive industry, they undergo TISAX audits (ISMS – information security management systems) and follow the NIST framework for security. This role will also be responsible for working with clients and auditors for security audits, which will be a big part of the role.
For IoT Cybersecurity, they use Nozomi networks, Dark trace, DLP tools, ServiceNow for ITSM, and Nessus for vulnerability scanning.
One of the main responsibilities of the role is to build the processes and workflow for industrial and IoT security. They have multiple applications connected to the shop floor network that require security.
About You
- Strong hands-on cybersecurity experience with around 8-10 years of experience.
- Understanding of network security and firewall (they use Checkpoint, but are open to other options).
- Minimum 3-5 years of people management and leadership skills.
- Must have an understanding of IoT (having managed or worked on IoT products with regards to security).
- Minimum 3-5 years of IT Audit experience.
- Able to commute to the Hamilton office 4 days/week.
Bonus Items
- Certs: CISA, SICM, CISSP.
- Industrial domain experience, such as manufacturing or oil & gas.
Salary Range
$140,000/year.
