KSR seeks a dedicated Electronics Commodity Buyer in Southfield, Michigan, or Ridgetown, Ontario. Develop sourcing strategies and ensure supply for critical automotive electronic components. In this vital role, you will manage daily purchasing for microchips, semiconductors, and sensors within a Tier 1 environment. With 5-10 years in strategic sourcing and supplier management, you will support KSR’s goals for production and new launches. Your engagement across Engineering, Quality, and Operations is crucial for compliance and cost competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop global sourcing strategies for automotive electronics
• Lead supplier evaluations and benchmarking activities
• Negotiate pricing and long-term agreements with suppliers
• Monitor supplier deliveries and address shortages
• Collaborate with Engineering for new product launches

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
• 5-10 years in purchasing or commodity management
• Experience with automotive electronic components
• Strong supplier relationship management skills
