The Role

As a Forms Programmer, you’ll play a key role in the automotive industry by creating and customizing finance and leasing documents for our dealer management software. These are the critical contracts that customers receive when purchasing or leasing new and pre‑owned vehicles—your work ensures accuracy, compliance, and a seamless experience.

Job Responsibilities

- Writing and implementing efficient code using Visual Basic.Net, VB6, SQL and MS Access

- Programming and maintaining our library of Finance and Lease documents for customers in the automotive industry

- Creating insurance rates tables and insurance forms for new or existing dealerships/working on all the forms for a specific install, for our new dealership

- Collaborating closely with other developers, business, and systems analysts

- Create technical documentation for references and reporting

- The Forms Programmer keeps users informed about their escalations/incident’s status at agreed intervals

Qualifications

- Basic programming and post‑secondary education

- 1‑2 years previous experience in the automotive industry or dealership environment is an asset

- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suit, Visual Basic.net and VB6

- Problem solving and trouble shooting skillsEffective time management and organization

- Strong multi‑tasking and prioritization

- Willingness to commit to an ongoing system of education and cross‑training
