Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Apprentice Company: Alliance Maintenance Services. Job Type: Full-Time, Apprenticeship. Job Description: We are excited to offer an apprenticeship opportunity for an aspiring Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Alliance Maintenance. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Apprentice, you will have the unique opportunity to learn and develop the skills necessary to become a qualified aircraft maintenance professional. Under the guidance of experienced engineers and technicians, you will gain hands‑on experience and theoretical knowledge in aircraft maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting. Aircraft types: Responsibilities: - Assist senior aircraft maintenance engineers in performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on various types of aircraft. - Learn to conduct inspections, identify maintenance requirements, and carry out repairs and component replacements. - Support the troubleshooting and diagnosis of aircraft systems, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. - Assist in the use of specialized tools, equipment, and computer systems to analyze and repair aircraft components and systems. - Study and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints to understand maintenance procedures. - Follow established safety regulations, maintenance standards, and industry best practices. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and parts usage. - Collaborate with a team of engineers, technicians, and other aviation professionals to ensure aircraft are maintained to the highest standards. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in aircraft technology, regulations, and maintenance practices. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Strong passion for aviation and aircraft maintenance. - Basic knowledge of aircraft systems and components is preferred. - Excellent attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols. - Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions. - Good communication skills and eagerness to learn from experienced professionals. - Flexibility to work in rotating shifts and respond to maintenance requirements. - Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
