A career as a Senior Manager, OTC collateral, reconciliation and governance within the Capital Markets Operations (CMO) team means playing a key role in ensuring the efficiency, quality, and governance of our activities. This job allows you to make a direct impact on the performance of the sector by leveraging your expertise in OTC derivatives, your understanding of risk management, and your ability to mobilize a team toward shared goals.

Your role

- Manage a team of about ten (10) professionals responsible for delivering OTC collateral management, portfolio reconciliation, and payment governance activities.
- Maintain and develop the team’s transactional expertise while optimizing the management of the financial transaction lifecycle.
- Provide client-focused support to internal and external partners, ensuring service quality and reliability.
- Simplify and improve operational processes related to daily activities, new products, and audit recommendations.
- Develop, implement, and strengthen controls to minimize operational risks and uphold high standards of quality and compliance.
- Act as a coach by fostering the professional development, versatility, and engagement of your team members.

Your team

Within the CMO sector, you will join the OTC Transversal Activities group, a team of about 40 professionals dedicated to operational excellence across the Bank’s capital markets activities. Reporting to the Senior Director, OTC Transversal Activities, you will work closely with partners across Business Lines, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Technology.

Prerequisites

- Bachelor’s degree in a field related to the business line and at least 7 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience
- Significant experience in people management and team leadership
- Strong knowledge of capital markets and OTC derivatives
- Prven ability in process improvement and change management
- Strong organizational skills to manage both projects and daily operations in a complex and evolving environment

Reason to require this language: you will need to work closely with our colleagues outside Quebec.
