Lead the way in education as a Contract Instructor for Trades at NAIT, focusing on serving Indigenous communities. This remote teaching role is flexible and impactful.
NAIT is seeking dedicated instructors for its Corporate & Continuing Education Department. You will instruct various trades such as Electrical, Carpentry, or Culinary across diverse locations, providing much-needed education to Indigenous populations. Flexibility and a commitment to student success are vital for this role.
Key Responsibilities
• Instruct students with hands-on practical learning methods
• Facilitate course materials effectively using innovative strategies
• Employ educational technology for presentations and communication
• Build ethical, professional relationships with all students
• Document attendance and maintain required records
Requirements:
• Certification in your specific trade
• Experience in instructional roles preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills for diverse student engagement
• Exceptional communication skills both verbally and in writing
