Product Planning Senior Director/Director Opportunity

Aritzia is growing, and our Planning team is expanding with it. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for developing sound product plans to maximize sales while minimizing risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage business and competitive landscape expertise to develop accurate seasonal and long-term projections.
  • Partner closely with Buying & Inventory Planning to monitor and report on performance against corporate OTB and projections.
  • Provide timely and accurate product insights to inform future purchasing strategies.
  • Develop and deliver inventory strategies to respond to changes in demand, including chase, cancellation, re-flow, and exit.
  • Collaborate with Product Creative teams (Merchandising and Design) to understand how long-range trend forecasts will affect current inventory ownership and future projections.
  • Manage corporate inventory levels.
  • Consistently evaluate Aritzia and competitor product performance.
Requirements:
  • Proven skills, education, and/or experience in Merchandise Planning.
  • Advanced proficiency in data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience working closely with Product Lifecycle teams including Merchandising, Buying, Design, and Production.
  • Strong awareness of the overall product lifecycle.
  • Ability to clearly and confidently communicate with cross-functional partners at all levels.
  • Commitment to learning, applying, championing, and enriching Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles.
  • Skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in pursuit of shared business outcomes.
  • Ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team.

Compensation:

The typical hiring range for this position is $150,000 - $250,000 CAD per year, eligible for bonus and equity.
