Role: GCP Architect

Contract: 3-6mo (possible extension)

Location: downtown Toronto (Hybrid – In-office Mondays and Fridays)

About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a certified Google Cloud Architect to help design, scale, and evolve our enterprise cloud platform. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep GCP architectural expertise with a passion for automation, AI-driven innovation, and modern DevOps practices.

You’ll play a key part in shaping our cloud strategy — leveraging tools like Terraform to build reliable, scalable infrastructure and integrating intelligent workflows that enhance agility across the business. Familiarity with Google Agent Space or similar AI/conversational platforms will be considered a strong asset.

Qualifications and Experience

- Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Architect (mandatory).
- Proven hands-on experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale GCP solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with Google Enterprise products, such as Workspace or Cloud Identity, is an advantage.
- Experience with AI automation tools or conversational platforms (e.g., Google Agent Space, Dialogflow, or similar) is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption through Terraform and related technologies.
- Partner with the Platform Lead to define architectural standards, governance frameworks, and operational best practices.
- Embed intelligent automation and AI-powered workflows into cloud and DevOps processes.
- Contribute to cloud strategy and continuous improvement, helping ensure reliability, scalability, and innovation across environments.
