You will provide guidance to the project team, assist in UAT initiatives, and eventually roll out the exciting system and process changes to the entire Organization.### ### As our business is constantly evolving, there is never a dull moment. This is an exciting opportunity to unequivocally influence and significantly improve our back-office and Autodesk’s future success.### ### **Responsibilities*** ### Attend meetings to discuss and document project requirements as they pertain to U.S. GAAP, with a focus on Revenue Recognition.* ### Work closely with your manager to understand operational capabilities and feasibilities of proposals presented.* ### Perform UAT as well as track and resolve any issues discovered during UAT.* ### Implement and document processes and procedures as required including SOX compliance and internal controls.* ### Evaluate accounting implications and confirm we can operationally support operational changes under the provisions of ASC 606.* ### Provide accounting guidance to project team and engineers.* ### Support broader team in training efforts and overall transition to the new business models and system flows.* ### Working hours based on PST time zone.### ### **Minimum Qualifications*** ### Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent practical experience.* ### 3+ years of relevant work experience.* ### Excellent business acumen with ability to deal with ambiguity.* ### Effective communication skills and ability to understand and present data.* ### Ability to work effectively in a team environment across all organizations as well as independently.* ### Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with a focus on revenue recognition.### ### **Preferred Qualifications*** ### CPA certification or equivalent practical experience.* ### Experience working with RAR, SAP, and/or Business Objects or other relevant systems.* ### Proficiency in Excel.* ### Experience in software or SaaS industry.* ### Excellent quantitative, analytical and data mining skills.* ### Enthusiastic and creative with the ability to inspire, influence and encourage others, in both relationships with customers and peers.### ### **About Autodesk**### ### With Autodesk software, you have the power to Make Anything. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $69,700 and $102,245. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
