We're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who is passionate about creating elegant, user‑centric interfaces. In this role, you'll architect and implement sophisticated frontend solutions that make complex pension data accessible and actionable. You'll lead the development of responsive, accessible applications while collaborating closely with our backend team to ensure seamless integration across our platform. This is a hands‑on leadership position where your technical expertise and UX sensibilities will directly impact how users interact with critical financial information. Key Responsibilities - User Interface Development: Design and build sophisticated, responsive, and accessible frontend applications with a focus on usability, performance, and visual appeal. - Architectural Leadership: Drive key frontend architecture decisions, with emphasis on component reusability, state management, and application structure. - Cross‑functional Collaboration: Work closely with backend engineers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to create cohesive user experiences. - Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior frontend developers, fostering a collaborative and growth‑oriented engineering culture. - Quality Assurance: Champion frontend testing practices, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to modern web development standards. Nice-to-Have Qualifications Advanced Frontend Skills - Familiarity with internationalization (i18n) and localization for multilingual applications. - Experience with micro-frontend architectures for large‑scale applications. Domain Expertise - Familiarity with financial or pension administration interfaces and data visualization. - Understanding of form validation requirements for financial applications. - Experience building interfaces that handle sensitive personal and financial information. DevOps & Infrastructure - Experience with frontend deployment strategies on cloud platforms. - Understanding of containerization and how it applies to frontend applications. - Familiarity with implementing security best practices in frontend applications. Secondary - Experience with React Native for mobile applications is a bonus. - Knowledge of design tools like Figma or Adobe XD for closer collaboration with designers. Soft Skills - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, especially with backend engineers. - Strong user empathy and ability to advocate for user experience in technical decisions. - Proven problem‑solving capabilities and a proactive mindset. - Leadership and mentorship experience. - Ability to translate complex financial concepts into intuitive user interfaces. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - 8+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3+ years focused on modern frontend frameworks. - Demonstrated success in delivering complex frontend applications that handle sensitive data.
