Nishnawbe-Aski Legal Services Corporation is presently recruiting for a

RESTORATIVE JUSTICE PRE-CHARGE WORKER

Timmins, Thunder Bay, Sioux Lookout or Kenora, ON

Under the Restorative Justice Initiative, the Pre-Charge Worker will be responsible for delivering and reporting on the implementation and progress of the initiative in the target communities funded under the project.

Qualifications:

1. This position requires at a minimum a secondary school diploma with related work experience.

2. This individual should have great public speaking skills as they will be presenting information to stakeholders within their designated communities.

3. Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision.

4. The Restorative Justice Pre-Charge Worker should have some experience or understanding of Restorative Justice and be able to discuss the pre-charge program with individuals in a law-related capacity.

5. Experience working with NAN and in First Nation Communities.

6. Excellent communication skills both oral and written.

7. Proficient working knowledge of MS Office Software, internet, and general office equipment.

8. Ability to speak Cree, Oji-Cree, or Ojibway is an asset.

Location: Timmins, Thunder Bay, Sioux Lookout or Kenora, ON

Hours: Full Time (35 Hours Per Week)

Salary: In accordance with established pay grid and commensurate with education/experience
