1x deck fitter

We are looking to appoint an employee as a Deck fitter within the Assembly Department. This position will report to the Team Leader.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Assemble and fit all deck fitting components.
2. Read and Understand Drawings.
3. Must be able to use power tools (Grinder, Jigsaw, Drill etc).
4. Assume responsibility and accountability for own work.
5. Manage time and attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Qualification External Candidate: NQF Level 2 (Grade 10).
2. Qualification Internal team members: Minimum Level 2 (Grade 10) or a R&C competency certificate as a Carpenter.
3. Ideal: NQF Level 4 (Grade 12).
4. Experience: At least 2 ½ years related work experience.
5. Trade Certificate / NQF 4 National Certificate will be advantageous.
6. Excellent timekeeping and attendance record.
7. Able to work shifts.
8. Able to work in a team environment.
9. Have a thorough understanding of the quality condition within the Company.
