The Opportunity

This position offers the opportunity to join a diverse litigation practice with mentorship and support from senior counsel. You will work on a wide range of matters including commercial disputes, estate litigation, employment law, and general civil litigation. We are looking for a lawyer who is confident in court, committed to delivering excellent client service, and eager to contribute to our collegial and community-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage all aspects of litigation files, including client consultations, pleadings, discovery, mediations, and trials
- Provide sound legal advice and practical solutions to clients
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across practice areas to support clients’ broader legal needs
- Participate in firm initiatives, professional development, and community engagement activities
- Uphold, promote and demonstrate our Firm core values, Integrity, Excellence and Innovation

Qualifications

- 4 plus years of post-call experience in litigation (commercial or civil)
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia (or eligible for transfer)
- Strong research, drafting, and advocacy skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage files independently and efficiently
- Experience before courts and tribunals will be considered an asset
- Excellent communication, judgment, and client relationship skills
