Drill/Hone Machinist

Machinist Qualifications include:

1. Five (5) years experience in Aerospace manufacturing preferred

2. Working to tight tolerances

3. Machining experience with high quality metals such as Inconel, Titanium, Aluminum, stainless steel

4. Working knowledge and demonstrated accurate use of measuring instruments such as micrometers, bore gauges, depth micrometer

5. Machining experience with TACCHI is an asset (for Drill Machinist)

6. High school diploma or GED required

7. Certificate or Machinist knowledge in the areas of drilling, honing, milling and/or manual machinist. Relevant years of experience is an asset.

8. Must be able to effectively communicate in English both written and spoken

9. Must be able to interpret written work procedures

10. Clear Background Records Check

11. Meet the registration requirements of the Controlled Goods Program

12. Able to work in Canada, Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident

3. Regular 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday, overtime paid after 40 hours per week. Opportunity for overtime by extending regular shift and/or weekend shifts.
