Your role and responsibilities

As a Brand Technical Specialist you'll work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM's industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.

Required education

Associate's Degree/College Diploma

Preferred education

Required technical and professional expertise

- Data & AI Market Knowledge: Expertise in the Data & AI market to quickly become a trusted client advisor (training on IBM's Data & AI offerings will be provided).
- Public Speaking and Presenting: Experience in presenting Data and AI topics, remotely or face to face to small to medium audiences.
- Content Creation and Socialization: Experience creating presentations, documents, video or audio assets and socializing those.

Preferred technical and professional experience

- Hands-on Experience with the IBM Data portfolio: Cloud Pack for Data, Databases (OEM, DB2, SQL, etc..), Knowledge Catalog, Data Stage, etc...
- Familiarity with ETL Concepts.
- Business Goal Translation: Translating business goals into technical solutions through collaborative teamwork.
- Stakeholder Influence: Utilizing strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence diverse senior stakeholders within enterprises.

Other Relevant Job Details

Must have the ability to work in Canada without sponsorship.

This role will involve working with technology that is covered by Export Regulations sanctions. If you are a Foreign National from any of the following US sanctioned countries (Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhia regions of Ukraine) on a work permit, you are not eligible for employment in this position.
