Job Description:
J&J MedTech (JJMT) Surgery is recruiting a Clinical Specialist to cover acute care sites in Vancouver, British Columbia. This sales role is based in the lower mainland of British Columbia.

This role presents an opportunity to join an exciting segment of the healthcare industry and one of the world's leading healthcare companies. You will be part of the JJMT Surgery sales team in British Columbia and through relationship building with customers will understand their needs and leverage JJMT Surgery's products and solutions to support them. This role reports to the Regional Business Manager and is a permanent full-time role.
Major Responsibilities
- Work in close partnership with Account Specialist to execute account plans, develop clinical relationships and provide case coverage and support.
- Develop strong relationships with clinical and administrative stakeholders in assigned accounts; collaborate and proactively share insights with other sales team members and internal business partners.
- Responsible for in-depth product and procedural expertise, education on safe and effective use of products.
- Attainment of sales/market share objectives.
- Execution of national/regional/local strategies for Surgery products.
- Find new growth opportunities and delight customers with Surgery products and solutions.
- Provide insights on customers, promotional programs, and environmental changes and provide ideas to improve product and company performance in the marketplace.
- Work with members of the regional sales team to over-deliver performance goals and create an exceptionally collaborative, respectful, and fun team environment.
Profile Wanted:
- Experience: A minimum of a university degree is required; related clinical support/nursing and/or sales experience in the medical device field is a strong asset.
- Exceptional communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. You know how to connect with people and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Curious: You are continuously learning new things and develop new skills and competencies. You often take yourself out of your comfort zone and are passionate about the business, customers, and the market. You never stop asking questions and can uncover meaningful insights.
- Analytical maven: Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills; needs to be comfortable understanding complex clinical trial data with ability to communicate this information to different types of customers.
- Creative and tenacious: The individual must be an excellent collaborator and problem solver who demonstrates a strong ability to take initiative and carry projects over the finish line, supported by their team.
- Some travel is required.
- A valid driver's license is required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $62,000-$112,000
