IBM is looking for highly motivated individuals who are multi-talented and autonomous.
Your role and responsibilities
1. Install, assemble, wire, configure and provision Intel and AMD servers
2. Install, wire and deploy Cisco Level 2 network equipment
3. Troubleshoot, test and ensure quality of server hardware
4. Resolve equipment-related problems professionally via requests/incident tickets
5. Troubleshoot and resolve basic network and operating system installation and configuration issues
6. Monitor and support our automated provisioning system for new server orders
7. Monitor and escalate, if necessary, customer server issues
Required education
High School Diploma/GED
Preferred education
Associate's Degree/College Diploma
Required technical and professional expertise
1. Moderate knowledge of PC hardware concepts and installation components
2. Basic knowledge of various internet-related services and software (email, web, DNC, etc.)
3. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
4. Good understanding of computer network concepts
5. Customer service attitude and experience
6. Experience in wiring and network wiring an asset
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
8. Bilingual - French/English (spoken and written) is essential
