Canada Inc. is a Canadian-based IT consulting company that specializes in helping businesses in North America leverage technology to improve their operations.Business Location: 1629 Gowling Terr, Milton, ON L9T 5J6Work location: 1456 Rose Way, Milton, ON L9E 1V7 and telecommuting is available (2 days per week)Type of Employment: Full time – PermanentEstimated Start Date: As soon as possibleJob Description:Confer with clients to identify and document requirementsConduct business and technical studiesDesign, develop and implement information systems business solutionsProvide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management and service deliveryAssess physical and technical security risks to data, software and hardwareDevelop policies, procedures and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breachesDevelop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycleConduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products and information systemsDetermine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formatsDesign new computer programs by analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, and writing specificationsRequirements:Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, information systems or completion of a college program in computer science is required.Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology (IT) is required.Computer and technology knowledge: Business intelligence, Cloud, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Visual Studio, Shell script, Subversion (SVN), Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Internet, Security software, 3D graphic software, Project management software, Website creation and management software, Web service design, Business diagram software, Mapping and data visualization software, Programming languages, Data analysis software, MS Office, MS Windows, PythonWorking Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Work under pressurePersonal suitability: Flexibility, Organized, Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Team player, Excellent written and oral communication, Accurate, Initiative, JudgmentLanguage: English is required.Salary: $45.00 hourly, 40 hours per week.Benefits: Medical and life insurance benefits. Accommodation provided at a cost.Important Information: Work model will be hybrid with 3 days per week in office and 2 days per week remote. Flexibility in schedule is required.
