Field Application Engineer (FAE) provides customer facing, telephone and email pre-sales and post-sales technical support, recommends products and solutions, and trains partners, VARs and end users on ICT solutions including: IT Hardware, Ethernet Extenders, Wireless products & education software solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist Regional Sales team by conducting ICT product introduction and communicating ICT solution value proposition to prospective customers.
2. Establish training materials, agenda and conduct technical training for clients.
3. Analyze specs provided by customers and suggest products that conform to those specs.
4. Assist customers in their ICT solution design and recommend appropriate ASUS ICT product & solutions products.
5. Assist distributors & end users with cross-referencing third-party products to ASUS ICT product & solution products.
6. Maintain knowledge of industry trends and customer needs and communicate information to appropriate internal stakeholders.
7. Accompany sales team to customers' sites for meetings and issues follow-ups.
8. Respond to customer phone calls and/or emails regarding issues related to ASUS ICT Product & solution products.
9. Handle initial RMA inquiry and determine whether returns are necessary.
10. Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, identify, and resolve customer's network issues related to ASUS ICT product & solution products; if necessary, provide onsite tech support to key customers.
11. Independently conduct client follow-ups and issues follow-ups.
12. Attend trade shows and industry events as needed.
13. Log all support cases into the company CRM.
14. Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
2. 3 years of customer facing experience.
3. Knowledge and understanding of IT hardware solutions such as: Windows Autopilot Registration Service, DFCi, Windows Auto pilot, SCCM package, Absolute Persistence 2.0 in UEFI, Image and BIOS customization & Different ICT solutions.
4. Candidate must be well organized, self-motivated, and capable of seeing projects through to completion.
5. High level of accountability and planning capabilities, communicates with transparency and integrity.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
7. Must be able to demonstrate professional presentation skills on complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
8. Proficient with CRM, & MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
9. Experience in vertical markets such as Education, SMB, Enterprise & governments.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel.
2. Must be able to travel overnight.
3. Must be able to sit for 4 hours at a time.
4. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
5. Comply with company attendance and dress code policies and guidelines.
