As a Document Management Technician within the Major Projects team at Pomerleau, you will play a key role by significantly contributing to the management of our major projects. Working on large-scale construction projects ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion. Under the hierarchical responsibility of the Document Management Manager, the Document Management Technician ensures the implementation of electronic document management (EDM) and the information lifecycle until their archiving.

What you will do

- Follow the plans and procedures established for the project;
- Assist in updating and developing general management procedures related to documentation;
- Ensure compliance and manage documents developed or received by the various teams within the project;
- Assist in training or accompanying new users regarding EDM;
- Under the direction of the Document Management Manager – Major Projects, distribute documents via EDM both internally and to the Client and stakeholders;
- Act as a resource person for users of the document management system;
- Daily detect errors and omissions for analysis and compliance purposes;

This role could be for you if you have

- A degree in archival studies, electronic document management, or a related field;
- Experience in project document management is an asset;
- Good knowledge of common software (Office suite, Adobe Acrobat, Aconex);
- Knowledge of construction is an asset;
- Analytical skills, ability to manage multiple files simultaneously, good adaptability, organizational skills, and good judgment;
- Interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities.

- Proficiency in written and spoken English and French;
