Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer I to join our Data and Analytics team. Our team is responsible for building and maintaining ETL pipelines into Snowflake using Fivetran, Python and Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundational experience with Snowflake and SQL, an eagerness to learn, and the ability to contribute to the management and enhancement of our enterprise data platform. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a junior-level engineer to grow within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Who you are:

- 1–3 years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or related technical field.

- Hands-on experience with Snowflake (administration or data modeling preferred).

- Proficiency in SQL and comfort working with large datasets.

- Familiarity with Python for scripting, automation, or data transformation tasks.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn quickly.

- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have

- Exposure to AI or machine learning concepts, such as anomaly detection or data quality analytics.

- Experience with data orchestration tools, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), or modern ELT frameworks.

What you'll be doing:

- Support the administration and daily operations of Snowflake, including user access, performance monitoring, and cost management.

- Build, monitor, and maintain data pipelines and integrations. Fivetran experience a plus

- Support and enhance Python-based automation and data workflows running in Azure.

- Partner with senior engineers to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements in data infrastructure.

- Participate in continuous learning to deepen technical expertise in data engineering tools and practices.
