Key Responsibilities
- Design storage, data, and caching systems at massive scale
- Lead architecture across S3, EBS, Glacier, and data services
- Solve durability, availability, and latency problems hands-on
- Mentor engineers and collaborate across AWS service teams
- Drive operational excellence and failure-mode ownership
Requirements:
- 10+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience designing large-scale systems in distributed environments
- Experience with multi-tiered, service-oriented architectures
- Strong systems expertise and analytical decision-making skills Shape Amazon S3 and foundational AWS storage architecture through distributed systems leadership, deep technical judgment, and operational ownership.
