We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Lab Automation Engineer in Toronto, ON (On-site).

Responsibilities:

- Independently design, implement, and validate high-throughput screening assays for formulation and assay development.
- Expertise with Hamilton liquid handling systems and SoftMax Pro plate readers for smooth integration in laboratory workflows.
- Create quality assurance protocols for assay validation.

Qualifications:

- Master of Science or Applied Science degree with a specialization in robotics, mechanical engineering, or high-throughput assay development.
- Over 3 years of experience in laboratory automation and Hamilton systems.
- Proficiency in automating intricate liquid handling workflows along with other platforms like SoftMax Pro and electronic laboratory notebooks.
- Experience with data pipelines, database management (SQL/NoSQL), and system integration to improve automation and optimize workflow efficiency.
