Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

As a Senior SDET at Moneris, you will lead the development of testing tools, quality gates, and reporting systems to enhance software quality across teams. You will integrate automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines, improve test toolchains, and lead quality engineering initiatives.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a hybrid model.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Senior Manager, Quality Assurance.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

1. Design and implement advanced test automation frameworks.
2. Be a subject matter expert, driving adoption of testing tools and best practices.
3. Develop and optimize automated quality gates within CI/CD pipelines.
4. Create strategies and reporting mechanisms to track main quality metrics.
5. Implement scalable performance testing solutions.
6. Partner with development teams to integrate automated testing.
7. Improve testing methodologies and automation frameworks.
8. Provide technical mentorship to other SDETs.
9. Lead the selection, maintenance, and scaling of test infrastructure.
10. Lead efforts in defect prevention, risk assessment, and test strategy optimization.

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

1. 5+ years as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or similar role.
2. 5+ years of experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions for automated testing.
3. 3+ years of experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
4. Proficient in Playwright, JUnit, Cypress, Karate, and Rest Assured.
5. Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
6. Guide innovation in test automation and reporting frameworks.
7. Experience influencing and collaborating across teams.
8. Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners technical insights to diverse audiences.
9. Experience building scalable and efficient testing solutions.
10. Experience with Agile methodologies and development.
