We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our Athabasca OSB Division, located in Slave Lake, Alberta. This state-of-the-art facility has the longest continuous press in North America, giving us the ability to produce a diverse range of innovative products for customers around the world.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
- University degree/technical diploma or a Journeyperson trades certification or extensive experience in a relevant field.
- Management experience leading maintenance teams within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with maintenance planning, condition monitoring, shutdown execution and implementing reliability programs.
- Experience with project management, including capital projects.
- Experience maintaining a large maintenance budget.
- Proven ability to manage change.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and maintenance processes.
- Knowledge and experience in OSB manufacturing is an asset.
In this role you will:

- Be responsible for planning and organizing maintenance activities.
- Build relationships internally across all employee groups at the mill.
- Analyze all aspects of your department’s performance and proactively identify and implement opportunities to improve operational effectiveness.
- Direct and organize third-party vendors.
- Partner with the production and project teams to deliver results.

- You'll earn an additional northern allowance on top of your base pay.
